Pumpkin picking has become a tradition for more and more families across the valley. This coming Thanksgiving weekend, Davison Orchards kicks off their “Family Pumpkin Festival,” featuring entertainment, u-pick pumpkin pours, and fall treats.
Davison Orchards is pumpkin central with literally thousands of pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and even a few different colors. In celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday, the pumpkin displays are an “Authentically Canadian” theme. From a lumberjack band, to Don Cherry, to maple syrup, there is lots to see and learn about the country we are blessed to call home. The Pumpkin Princess will also be returning to her castle on the farm and is excited to see all the families. Mojom Circus will be returning to the farm, showing off their juggling skills, as well as Creative Works by Christine offering fun face painting. As always, the farm themed playgrounds are open and the farm animals are happy to have visitors.
On top of the entertainment there will be pumpkin treats of all kinds available including pumpkin cakes, pumpkin steamers, and pumpkin kids pack lunches. Carry on a tradition, or start a new one by joining the fun at the Family Pumpkin Festival at Davison Orchards and find your perfect Halloween pumpkin!
