If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
My family in Europe, I don’t see them very often anymore!

If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
That is a great question! I would be excited to win any award!

If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
Hmm, this is not a historical figure but probably my grandma, she passed away two years ago and it just doesn’t seem to be the same without her around.

Who inspires you?
My family. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them.

What are three things on your bucket list?
Let’s see… vacation in Bora Bora, go to Six Flags and fly in business/first class to Europe! (Bucket List’s can be like dreams no?)

If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
“Awesome”

If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
September 2015 when we are scheduled to move into our house and June 11, 2037

What are you passionate about?
Life! Soccer, reading, work, spending time with my family(funny how that becomes a passion as you get older!)

What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
August 10th, 2013, my beautiful wedding day!

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
Being promoted to Operations Manager at Sparkling Hill

Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna? What do you like about it?
Momo Sushi, they just make amazing sushi, the rice is warm! The crispy, crispy roll is just delicious!

What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna? Why?
Probably the Farmers' and Crafters' Market, we are so lucky to have so many local products around us!

What is the name of your business/organization?
Sparkling Hill Resort

What does your business/organization do?
We are a destination wellness hotel! The heart of Sparkling Hill is our 40,000 sq. ft. KurSpa which is one of the largest spas in North America! We offer over 100 different unique treatments and our signature treatment is our -110C Cryotherapy also known as the Cold Sauna, it is extremely beneficial if you have arthritis or inflammation, with the proper amount of treatments one can be pain free for up to six to nine months! Also, very unique to Sparkling Hill is included in any stay is a full hot European breakfast, access to our seven unique steams and saunas, the Kneipp waterway, indoor pool complete with underwater music and starry Swarovski crystal sky, hot pool, outdoor infinity pool overlooking Lake Okanagan, FunFit Center and our Tea and Serenity relaxation rooms, as well as wifi and valet parking! We are privately owned by Mr. Gernot Langes-Swarovski? We are fortunate to have over 3.5 million Swarovski crystals throughout the hotel! We have just launched our new Healthy Lifestyle Menu in our PeakFine Restaurant and would love to see you there for lunch or dinner! Our main goal is to attract weeklong guests (we have amazing weeklong packages available!), it starts with a one on one session with our Naturopath, he will recommend which treatments will be most beneficial for you and ensures you feel rejuvenated when it is that dreadful time to leave us. There are a lot of different treatments included as well as all meals! The goal is to promote preventative health, let’s take care of ourselves before something comes up!

To be the top destination wellness resort in the world!

Where do you want your business/organization to be in five years?
In five years we hope to have majority of our guests be weeklong stays with the focus of preventative health and be North America’s leading health and wellness resort!

Who do you consider to be a forerunner within your field?
Health Spas in Europe, they have done this for so many years already!

What three qualities do you feel that your business/organization exemplifies?
Exceptional customer service, high standard for quality, and confidence (I don’t mean this in a conceded way, we are confident that we can help people be more health conscious and live a more health oriented lifestyle!)

What would you like to say to your employees/volunteers?
We feel so fortunate to have you as part of our team, your dedication to ensuring each guests stay is memorable and unique is much appreciated! You are all amazing!

How does your business/organization impact the community?
We provide quite a few donations each year, we try to focus on one large donation (Kelowna General Hospital, Vernon Jubilee Hospital, etc.) and then also ensure to put aside funding for smaller community events as well!

If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
Oh well any fields really! I find a lot of different things very interesting and can easily carry on conversations about random things!

If I could change one thing about Kelowna, it would be:
The traffic

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
Everything! The Okanagan is such a beautiful location and we are so lucky to have such awesome four seasons!

Some general comments I would like to share are:
I hope everyone from the Okanagan comes and visits Sparkling Hill! It is such a unique get away and you feel miles away from home even though you are just 45 minutes! I have heard some people say that it looks intimidating because of all of the crystals but it really is not! We have wonderful employees who are very welcoming!
