What do you always find yourself saying?
Where’s my wallet?

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
I can’t say Beyoncé because my wife will divorce me, ha ha, so…maybe…my wife. One whole day with her and no children would be much better, of course it would be.

If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
Stanley Cup or an Isle of Man trophy

If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
Jimi Hendrix. Sex, drugs, and rock and roll.

Who inspires you?
Most of my friends and my children.

What are three things on your bucket list?
I don’t really have a bucket list as such, I just try to take as many opportunities as possible that come along. And I would really like to ride a speedway motorbike.

If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
Big Fat Betty

If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
The day I die.

What are you passionate about?
Being in the woods.

What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
Loads, too many to count! Star Wars with our children in the theatre over Christmas was mega fun, I guess that is the latest day full of good memories.

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
I’ve done quite a lot that I’m proud of but recently it would be the motorcycle flattrack racing I organize at O’Keefe Ranch in Vernon….www.flattrackbc.com (the site will be fully up and running by the end of Jan.)

Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna? What do you like about it?
Salted Brick. It tastes good and the atmosphere is super chill.

What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna? Why?
Mountain biking, biking, and flattrack racing tie…but flattrack is in Vernon so maybe it doesn’t count!? They’re both so much fun, I really like being on my bike. I also wish the Knox Mountain Hillclimb that happens in May was better organized and supported because that is a seriously good thing but it’s dying…and I wish I could race it on my motorbike…one day!

What does your business/organization do?
Commercial and editorial photography is my main focus. If I can be outdoors then even better.

What is your mission?
It is to make pictures that I like and that people like to look at!

If you could achieve one thing within your field, what would it be?
Ha ha, easy! Be the inventor of battery packs made of air.

Where do you want your business/organization to be in five years?
In a similar place, always trying to create new and interesting work.

Who do you consider to be a forerunner within your field?
Oh, way too hard! So many different influences but Alan Mahon, Geoff Waugh, Dewey Nicks and Ken Copsey come to mind right away.

What three qualities do you feel that your business/organization exemplifies?
Creative, fun, and honest.

What would you like to say to your employees/volunteers?
Hello is there anybody there?

How does your business/organization impact the community?
I donate my services each year to two charitable organizations that need photography and film work.

If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
Electronics and a NASA scientist so we can get to work on my air batteries!

If I could change one thing about Kelowna, it would be:
Harvey Bloody Avenue!!

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
Beaches, pedestrian waterfront, and the cycle lanes. The downtown could be amazing too. It’s slowly getting there so hopefully continues!
