Cassandra Ebner.
Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?
I was born in Edmonton, AB, grew up in Penticton, BC and I have lived in West Kelowna from age 10 to 18.
Who is your favourite person to spend time with and why?
Trevor Addie would have to be my favourite person to spend time with. We met at a gymnastics gym when we both lived in Vancouver. His passion for movies, story telling and adventure makes it hard to not spend time together!
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
China, so I could bump into Jackie Chan.
What is your favourite local store in Kelowna and why?
I really like Munin's Post. It's a place for people to hang out, eat, grab a drink and play board games with your friends. The best part is, it feels like you're in your friend's house and you have no reason to be anyone but yourself.
What is your favourite activity?
Making movies!
If you had to choose: pizza, tacos, or burgers?
Tacos!
What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
When I was filming a fight scene for Croft, I wasn't feeling so well. Maybe it was the hitting the January ground in a tank top? I am not quite sure, but I ran behind a tree and my friends started making gagging noises and that set my sickness off...
What is the most inspiring thing that has happened to you?
I played a game called World of Warcraft with my Dad and Uncle. I loved it so much that my 15-year-old self emailed the company asking if I could be in a movie if they made one. They replied saying they could only hire professionals, 6 years later I worked on it.
Tell us your favourite childhood memory.
I remember playing in my creative magical world where all my favorite TV show's were real. I would interact with different characters as myself and introduce my friends into this world. Ahh wow... Alas, not much has changed.
Where do you volunteer or give back to in the community?
I support the BC Childrens Hospital through a campaign called Extra Life. It's where people raise money through gaming and many other great events! It's a great place for people to get together and have fun to support a great cause!
If you could change one thing in the world what would it be?
I think if everyone had the food and water they needed to survive that would be a beautiful thing.
What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
I love wakeboarding!!
Where would you sneak away to in Kelowna to spend some time alone?
Somewhere quiet and overlooking the city and the lake.
Where would you like to see positive change in Kelowna and why?
I absolutley love Kelowna! The positive change I would love to see is a more enclusive community! More events for people to meet new friends who are trying to live in this beautiful city would be amazing!
If you were granted one wish for work or in life, what would it be?
The ability to teleport so I could see family and friends as often as I wanted!
Tell us something that not everyone may know about you.
Aside from my acting and stunt career, I used to make youtube videos everyday for four years. I started my vlogging channel (NerdzRL) in my last year of highschool in West Kelowna to document my journey.

I'm an actress and stuntwoman.
What does your business do?
Sometimes I bring a story and character to life that people can relate to or have fun watching! Other times I fly, tumble around, do fight scenes, get hit by cars and make people cringe!

To create a believable story and kick some butt while doing it!
What has been your biggest struggle either in work or life?
I constantly remind myself to keep true to me and my goals, that has been hard, but a great journey!
If you could start all over again would you do things the same or would things be different?
I wouldn't change a thing because if I did I wouldn't be me!
Why do you think it is important to shop locally?
I think it's important to support your community in all ways! If you shop locally you're keeping your community in business and, a lot of the time, they're better products too!
