Meet the Abominable Snowman! He's arrived in Kelowna for a visit and brought a bunch of snow with him!
Where are you from and how long have you lived in Kelowna?
I was born in the Himalayas. I visit Kelowna from December to February, every year. I guess that explains the snow, eh?
Describe yourself in one word.
Cold.
If you could go anywhere in the world right at this moment where would you go and why?
I love Kelowna! It's the perfect place to call him every winter. With the adorable skating rink downtown and Big White, it's a snowman's dream!
What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
I really enjoy spending time in the woods and making friends with the wildlife. They are always quite scared of me at first, but then they realize I'm really just a nice guy with a bunch of extra fuzz.
Where would you like to see a positive change in Kelowna and why?
I would like to see Kelowna be more accepting of the cold. You folks are so lucky here to have all four seasons - why not embrace the cold when its here?
What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The four seasons, the snow cones, the skating rink, the ski hills, the tobaganning, the hot chocolate. Pretty much everything!
What are 3 things on your bucket list?
I only have one: and that is to change my name to the Friendly snowman, rather than Abominable - I think it gives people the wrong message.

You can find me in Monsters Inc, and I'm actually staring in a new movie called Abominable that is playing at the Encore Theatre in West Kelowna!
What has been your biggest struggle either at work or in life?
Everyone is always scared of me!
If you could start all over again, would you do things the same or would things be different?
Nope, I'd stay the same. I love my snowman life!
What do you always find yourself saying?
"Welcome to the Himalayas!"

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
Santa - I heard he came to visit Kelowna recently. I must've just missed him!
