If I could change 1 thing about Kelowna, it would be?
I would change people's opinions that those of us born and raised here are cliquey and snobbish. I adore the melting pot that is our city, and love hearing people's 'where they are from, and how they got here' stories. I love how so many deisre to live here in our paradise.
What do you think makes Kelowna great?
The geography, obviously. The climate most definitely. The 'not too big, not too small' city feel is very appealing to many. What always makes or breaks a place is the people. My circle of people here are GREAT!
Some general comments I would like to share are
Kelowna has given us the geography, topography and climate to be amazing. But those are only raw materials. What we as a city do with those things, how we greet those that visit and move here; that is up to us. My family and I are inspired to try and spend each day to pay it forward, to inspire, and actually show instead of tell why we live in the best place in the world!
