Kelowna captures Tuesday night's windstorm

The Okanagan was battered by winds on Tuesday night as a storm rolled through the valley.

Barriers set up to guard against rising lake levels got a true test as waves crashed against and over them well into the night.

The worst may have passed, but the wind is still blowing strong as people get back to work on Wednesday morning.

As predicted, water made its presence known at many Kelowna beaches and waterfront parks and residents did a great job capturing that with photos and videos.

Here are some of the best shots from Tuesday night's storm (some posts have multiple photos and videos).
