Let this year be the year you finally say yes to the things that light you up.
Let this year be the year you finally say no to the things that aggravate you.
What would this year feel like if you spent more time with people who are doing things in their life that inspires you?
What would this year be like to live from excitement for new ideas and collaboration with others who actually lift you up.
There will always be nay-say’ers.
There will always be people who show up that don’t agree with what you’re up to.
There will always be lessons that come from your contact with those people.
Find the people who cheer you on.
Find the humans who are genuinely in your corner through thick and thin.
Find the ones that will smile with you when you make a big mess of a project you’re working on and let those people hold your hand up in victory when you rock it out of the park.
Those are the ones.
Those are the game changers.
Leading up to a new year is a dreaded time for some of us and a really special time for others. There can be lots of thoughts, emotions and feelings about new beginnings. The other side to this is complete resignation. We all have the capacity to create something massive in ours lives (yes, even you) and we also have the ability to take ourselves out of it. Sometimes when we’re on the verge of greatness we let our old defaults come back in and sabotage us out of it. The new year is such a fantastic time to reflect. Dig into the moments that felt like nails on a chalkboard. Check out what’s under the table that you might have ditched for dealing with another time. Wonder about the gut-punch-feels that have passed by. These are the lessons we can sift through and save the gems. When you grab these opportunity by the horns, you take your power back. You don’t let the sticky moments keep you stuck. When you take your power back anything is possible. You are no longer limited. You are clear to create.
