“Kelowna Flightcraft staff and management were stunned, shocked, and heartbroken to learn a valued employee, colleague, and friend was lost to an unspeakable act of violence on Thursday October 30th, 2014,” said the company in a statement. “He brought tremendous skills and training from his previous work in both Vancouver and the Philippines. Over the last two years he became a part of the Flightcraft family, working with 100’s of our employees across the organization, participating in social club activities, contributing on several large projects, and developing a strong circle of friends and colleagues.”

Second degree murder charges have been laid against 23 year old Tyler Jack Newton. Police are calling the attack on a Kelowna city bus random.
