One Person Airlifted to KGH After Crash on Hwy 97C

At least one individual has been taken to Kelowna General Hospital via emergency helicopter after a devastating car crash closed the east bound lane of the Okanagan connector. Highway 97C has since reopened after being closed for almost four hours.

A truck plunged down the side of a road embankment somewhere between Brenda Mines and Pennask Summit.

The individual taken to hospital suffered serious injuries.

RCMP cannot comment on the details of the accident as the investigation is still on going.
