Possibly national recall of chicken burgers

The recall of Stampede Brand Chicken Burgers issued on March 16 could now be a national issue, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

Erie Meat Product Ltd. is recalling Butcher's Selection brand Stampede Chicken Burgers because they may contain egg which is not declared on the label.

Consumers who are allergic to egg should not consume the following product:

Butcher's Selection: Stampede Chicken Burgers; 1.4 grams; UPC: 8 29810 93280 2.

If you have the recalled product at home, either throw it out or return it to the store.

There have been no reported illnesses so far.
