Everything you can do for just $10 at Big White on Friday nights

It’s fun setting challenges for yourself. It could be health and fitness goals, or perhaps you want to get a project done soon. Challenges help us grow and accomplish more than we thought we could. Perhaps you want to try something new, but are worried about the cost.

You might be thinking to yourself that $10 isn’t enough to do much, but you might be surprised how far it can go. At Big White Ski Resort, there are a variety of $10 deals that you won’t want to miss. Grab your gear and head up the mountain, it’s time to experience Big White at night!

How far can $10 get you at Big White Ski Resort?

If you make a couple of small changes to your weekly routine, you can be night skiing up at Big White Ski Resort with their $10 lift ticket every Friday night until the end of the season.

If you’re a beginner, they have you covered with their $10 Beginner Lessons with a pro on Friday night. The regular ski and snowboard rentals, tubing and various restaurants also have $10 deals.

At the Moose Lounge, there is a pasta buffet with caesar salad and garlic toast from 5pm to 8pm. Underground Pizza offers two slices of pizza and a can of pop for $9.99 from 4pm to 9pm. The Gunbarrel and Grill has $10 Gunbarrel coffee from 8pm to 10pm.

With a valid $10 Friday night lift ticket, you can head to the Globe Cafe that offers a $10 thin crust Italian-style Margarita pizza and The Blarney Stone for their $10 Blarney fries and a beer.

So, what do we need to do to save up enough moolah to take advantage of these deals?

Saving $10 is easier than you think

Many of us love our Starbucks or Tim Hortons coffee every day, but sacrificing it a few times a week will open up new opportunities to unwind and have a blast at the end of your work week.

If coffee is a necessity in the morning, look at more cost effective options. Making your own each morning will cost you less in the long run. Maybe do some research on how to make quality coffee at home - it might be the bean you buy that’s holding you back.

Taking transit, walking or biking instead of paying for parking and gas every day can save you much more than $10 a week. Especially if you work in the downtown core.

Working five days a week takes a lot of energy. It’s very common for people to buy a lunch once or twice or five times a week. When we get home after work, it can be hard to muster up the energy to plan our lunch for the next day.

If you made a point to pack a lunch, you could unwind at the end of the work week at Big White Ski Resort. By meal prepping more frequently, you will save money and, let’s be honest, have a few more healthy meals under your belt.

Learning how to meal prep for multiple days is key. When you have the energy, be sure to make enough for a couple days.

Right in your backyard

Big White Ski Resort is only a short drive outside of Kelowna. Now with that extra $10 you’ve saved, you can head up there on Friday nights and experience everything the mountain has to offer.

With deals on night skiing, snowboarding, tubing, rentals and lessons for beginners, and restaurants just waiting to dish out delicious meals to you, your friends, and your family, there is plenty to keep you busy on the mountain.
