Kelowna BC – After months of eager anticipation, the Meat and Cheese Festival made its Kelowna debut at our historic Laurel Packinghouse last Saturday, delivering an experience that did not disappoint.
With a curated selection of over 40 artisan food and beverage vendors, local and beyond, the festival provided ticket holders with an unparalleled opportunity to indulge in an array of mouthwatering goods.
Over the course of the day, general admission tickets granted guests entry to their choice of an afternoon or evening two-hour tasting session, with VIPs gaining one hour of early access to the evening session.
But no matter what ticket you purchased, you were sure to receive plenty of enjoyment, as a steady flow of wine, cheeses, meats, and many other delectable treats delighted the senses throughout the day.
From handmade blue cheese, paired with honey from the Naramata Bench to award-winning apple strudel liqueur from the Purcell Valley, the festival offered something unique and enticing at every corner, encouraging guests to discover new favourites and expand their culinary horizons.
Already renowned and anticipated yearly in Victoria, Vancouver, and other locations, the festival proved to be an instant hit in Kelowna.
Undoubtedly solidifying its place as a must-attend event for the craft food and beverage enthusiasts of Kelowna, one can only hope it will be back again next summer!
