Worldwide Women's march

Thousands of women around the world are expected to march in the streets today to promote women's rights and in protest of the newly sworn in U.S. President Donald Trump.

Kelowna's Women's March is at 10 a.m. beginning at the Downtown Sails on the corner of Abbott and Bernard Avenue.

The march will bring together Canadian women, men and children in a grassroots effort to support human rights initiatives happening world wide on January 21, 2017.

B.C. will be showing it's solidarity with marches planned in Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo and here in Kelowna.

As of right now, marches are already well underway around the globe.
