After comments U.S. President Donald Trump made about one of their own, NFL players are linking arms and or taking a knee during the national anthem in stadiums across the country in protest.
During a rally in Alabama, Trump referenced 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick refusing to stand during the U.S. national anthem in protest of police brutality, saying that team owners should fire players who take a knee and “disrespect the American flag.”
