Big White Ski Resort is once again reminding people that its recreational areas are currently closed to the public.
The reminder arrives after reports that a recent visitor fell into a creek while exploring the closed alpine area.
"It is extremely worrisome to read a post that someone has fallen into a creek at the resort," said President and CEO Peter Plimmer regarding the incident.
"I would like to take the opportunity to remind EVERYONE that land within the Controlled Recreational Area at Big White is CLOSED."
Officials are advising people that there's an enormous amount of unmarked hazards, including rocks, jumps and cliffs after the ski season shuts down.
Last month, Big White issued a similar public warning after a size two avalanche was triggered by snowmobilers near The Cliff ski area.
The resort is tentatively planning to open for its summer season on July 1.
