There’s not much a ski hill can do about a lack of snow, but Big White is certainly doing all they can over the past few days.
“While we’ve been a bit short on snow over the past week, our groomers have been busy keeping the runs in corduroy,” said a statement from the mountain.
Once again, there was no new snow at Big White over the past 24 hours and the alpine snow base has dipped down to 162 centimetres.
However, there are flurries in the forecast today and the mountain expects 3-5 cm of snow to fall tonight.
To start the day, it’s -3°C on the hill with unlimited visibility, overcast skies and light winds.
A total of 111 runs are open to the public today, with 15 lifts spinning to service all the terrain.
Conditions are always changing at the hill, so be sure to check the Big White website for the most up to date snow report.
