PHOTOS: Big White and SilverStar celebrate Australia Day

Another year, another wild Australia Day at the Okanagan’s two biggest ski resorts.

People flocked to the hill on Sunday, most wearing very little clothes and sporting Australia flags on their backs like capes.

Fortunately for those participating, it was much warmer than the -25°C degrees that it got down to just over a week ago in the Okanagan.

It was especially busy at Big White, as the mountain had competitors and spectators out for the final day of the 2020 Barrels & Berms SBX World Cup.

During a time of turmoil for much of Australia, Sunday was a great day for Aussies and friends to get out and celebrate their home country, as well as raise some money for firefighting efforts back home.
