Local animation company Yeti Farm Creative has announced a strategic partnership that will create upwards of two hundred local jobs.
Partnering with L.A./Vancouver-based company Surprise Bag, Inc., the merger will incorporate Yeti Farm’s state-of-the-art 2D/3D animation facility and corporate infrastructure with Surprise Bag’s skills in global sales, development, live action and financing in a deal that promises to benefit both companies.
According to Yeti Farm's CEO Ashley Ramsay, the expansion will include hiring more employees across several areas such as animation, concept design, production and post-production to work out of the company's 7,000-SF state of the art studio in Kelowna.
“The strategic partnership we have formed with Surprise Bag fits with our growth strategy of expanding our studio's reputation globally for high caliber animation services and ambitious intellectual property pursuits. Frank Saperstein and Surprise Bag bring unparalleled experience to our corporate team and I could not be more excited to collaborate with him on new strategic initiatives we have underway” said Ashley Ramsay, Yeti Farm’s CEO.
Yeti Farm continues to be one of B.C.’s leading animation service studios, providing creative services for notable cartoons such as Mysticons and Angry Birds Toons.
