The 10-year challenge is just another internet fad, but some are using it as a chance to show what’s happening to our planet. It mostly involves things shrinking, like rivers, lakes, forests, glaciers and more, and it certainly is creating a discussion about how we’re treating our planet.

Beloved poet Mary Oliver died at the age of 83 on Thursday. The Pulitzer Prize-winning poet passed away of lymphoma at her home in Florida. Her work often explored nature, animals and the spiritual world with a belief that poetry “mustn’t be fancy.” She was one of the United States’ best-selling poets.
"Poetry isn't a profession, it's a way of life. It's an empty basket; you put your life into it and make something out of that."

In the end, Spain’s Garbiñe Muguruza knocked off Britain’s Johanna Konta 6-4, 6-7, 7-5 to advance to the 3rd round of the Grand Slam.
