Meet the man who started Kelowna Actors Studio on a credit card

In this episode of Business Matters, presented by Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, host Rob Cupello is joined by Nathan Flavel, an Associate Broker at Sotheby’s International Realty and Owner and Executive Producer at the Kelowna Actors Studio.

The inception of Kelowna’s Actor Studio was unconventional.

“We started Actors Studio on a credit card, it was the craziest thing!” Flavel reminisces on the creation of the organization.

“It was the stupidest thing I’ve ever done, but it was the smartest thing I’ve ever done.”

The studio has been through quite a journey since it was started up.

From a meteoric rise to the challenges they faced because of the pandemic, the support of the community is the thing that has kept Flavel and his crew working hard and determined to keep succeeding.

To hear more about how the Kelowna Actors Studio came to be, Flavel’s stories of shining on stage and of course the long list of awards the actor/ broker has received, listen to the full episode below.
