During the province's Monday COVID-19 briefing, Dr. Bonnie Henry announced a total of 26 new cases have been identified since Friday.
That total includes 10 identified cases between Friday and Saturday, 14 from Saturday to Sunday and just two cases between Sunday and Monday.
Over the weekend, officials announced a virus exposure at a Vancouver strip club where three people attending Brandi’s Exotic Show Lounge tested positive.
"They were operating under the same event license that would apply to a pub," said Dr. Henry.
"So yes, they were in some sense going around the regulations and they have been ordered to close because their safety plan was not adequate."
There are currently 18 people in hospital with COVID-19, 11 in the Fraser Health region and seven in the Vancouver Coastal region, with five of those in critical care.
Zero new deaths have been reported in the past three days.
Operating rooms are once again operating at full capacity, with 6,100 to 6,500 surgeries a week being conducted during June.
Globally, there have now been more than 10 million cases of COVID-19.
