Interior Health is warning the public about a potential COVID-19 exposure in Merritt.
Anyone who was at the pub in the Coldwater Hotel between 9-10 pm on Saturday, Sept. 19 could have potentially been exposed to the virus.
“Public health officials are asking people at the pub during this time period to self-monitor for signs of COVID-19 and to get tested if they begin to exhibit symptoms,” said a release from IH.
“Public health contact tracing is underway and, where possible, IH is reaching out directly to individuals who have been exposed.”
Anyone who exhibits symptoms and thinks they should get tested is advised to contact their primary care provider or the closest IH community testing and assessment centre.
