The fourth annual Stone Soup Gala sponsored by Troika developments, in support of the Niteo Africa Society, is returning to Kelowna at the Okanagan Regional Library on Saturday, April 14, and we want you to attend this amazing event!
Niteo Africa Society is an organization that started 10 years ago, right here in Kelowna.
Their main goal is to provide communities in Uganda or South Sudan, with large shipping containers filled to the brim with books. These containers are then revamped with shelving to create a community library, that will provide students with important educational resources.
At the event you can expect delicious food inspired by classic folk stories created by chef's from Okanagan Chef's Association and Okanagan College. They will compete to create the tastiest dish inspired by famous literature - and the guests are the judges!
Along with amazing food there will be live entertainment and a silent auction where you can donate to his amazing cause and win great prizes.
