New heavy metal music festival debuting in Kelowna and Penticton in April

Organizers promise two crazy nights filled with “loud music and amazing memories.”

That’s what people can expect out of the inaugural 3N1GMATIC Music Festival, which will take over a pair of bars in Kelowna and Penticton this spring.

The creation from Norm Mathers and Robb O’Day will see nine bands rock out at Clancy’s Pub in Penticton on Friday, April 7, before eight take the stage at Runaways Lounge in Kelowna on Saturday, April 8.

Check out the lineup of all 14 bands (some will play both nights) below:

Mathers and O’Day say they’ve dedicated themselves to helping the local arts community get back on its feet over the past few years.

They’ve done so with the start of their podcast 3N1GMA and they have used that platform to create three shows for Telus that focus on local arts and music.

The duo have also used their platform to start hosting live music events, which makes the two-day 3N1GMATIC Music Festival a logical next step.

“Come enjoy two nights of incredible talent provided by the community, for the community,” they say.

It won't be just music either, as attendees can expect drag and burlesque performances from Freida Whales and others.

Tickets are very affordable in the lead up to the festival. Early-bird single-day passes for either city are just $30, or you can grab a weekend pass for $50.

The cost at the door will be a little more, with single-day passes jumping to $40 and a weekend pass increasing to $70.

You can email enigmaticmusicfestival@gmail.com to secure your early-bird tickets or head to the festival's Facebook page for more information.
