If you are looking for a place to get some holiday shopping done, in addition to enjoying the magic of the season, look no further than the annual Okanagan ChristmasFest event.
Ramping up to return for its sophomore year on Thursday, Dec. 12, the event will once again offer Kelowna a European-inspired outdoor holiday market, that will be equipped with tons of artisan vendors.
This year, the event will take place both inside and outside the Kanata Hotel and Conference Centre off of Hwy 97, and will once again be in support of the Central Okanagan Food Bank.
Not only will you have the opportunity to get some last-minute shopping out of the way, but the event will also offer a spot to enjoy some festive fun for the entire family.
Look forward to live caroling, warm apple cider and mulled wine, delicious sweet treats and German cuisine, as well as a Christmas Tree walk and gingerbread house display. Santa himself will also make an appearance at 6 pm on Thursday!
In addition to supporting the foodbank, attendees will also be able to give back by purchasing raffle tickets in support of The Bridge Youth & Family Services Youth Recovery House.
The event will run from 5 pm until 9 pm on Thursday, from 5 pm to 10 pm on Friday and from 4 pm until 10 pm on Saturday. Admission will be $5 at the door and children under 12 years of age will get in for free.
