There’s a non-dairy option on the menu at Tim Hortons.
The popular coffee chain announced today that Silk almond milk is now available at locations across Canada for guests to enjoy in their coffee, tea, Iced Capps and more.
In addition, 100% Canadian skim milk has been added to the menu as well.
Tim Hrotons is partnering with Danone to make the almond milk addition happen.
"We know that many Canadians have a growing desire for plant-based products, both for the nutritional benefits and delicious taste,” said Jeremy Oxley, VP of Danone.
“Silk almond beverage clearly meets this need. In addition to its great taste, it is free from dairy, lactose, soy and gluten, plus it provides a number of essential nutrients.”
There won’t be any additional cost for customers to have almond milk or skim milk used in their brewed or iced coffees or hot teas.
However, prices will vary by region when it’s added to espresso-based beverages, tea lattes or frozen beverages like Iced Capps.
