There’s a new canned cider from BC Tree Fruits Cider Co.
The popular Kelowna cidery unveiled it’s Broken Ladder Rosé today, the fourth member of the Broken Ladder family.
It's now on store shelves across the Okanagan, begging to be tried this weekend.
“Broken Ladder Rosé is fresh and fruit forward with notes of sour cherries and hibiscus flower,” said a Facebook post from BC Tree Fruits Cider Co.
“Like all of our Broken Ladder ciders, Rosé is fresh pressed with 100% B.C. apples and cherries, has no water added, contains no artificial flavours or colours and is naturally gluten free.”
The new Rosé flavour joins the cidery’s already impressive lineup of canned cider, which already includes their apples, apples & hops and pears & peaches flavours.
While those are the only flavours you can buy in cans and in other liquor stores, BC Tree Fruits Cider Co. always has a range of innovative flavours available in their tasting room.
Last summer, that included the Rosé flavour, while the cidery has also offered others like peach ginger, spiced plum, hibiscus and cherry peppercorn.
To try those ciders, fill a growler or buy any other merchandise, including canned cider, visit the tasting room at 880 Vaughan Ave.
An original version of this story was written on March 5. It's being republished to show that the cider is now available in stores.
