Directions:

This trail is located in West Kelowna. From Highway 97, turn onto Boucherie Road. Follow along and turn left onto Ogden Road. Next, turn right onto Collens Road and follow the signs for Kalamoir Regional Park.

Description:

From the parking lot, the choice is yours. To the north is the Waterfront Trail and to the south is the Sunnyside Trail. On the north side, the 1.5 km Waterfront Trail is an easy stroll along the attractive lakeshore. With a few beaches to access and two off-leash dog parks, this trail ends in the Casaloma Subdivision.

On the south trail, it is a beautiful path that takes you up along the hillside overlooking the lake and towards the Mission and Okanagan Mountain Park. The name really says it all. This trail definitely receives a lot of sun! This 0.63 km trail ends at the Sunnyside Road cul-de-sac. From here, you can return to the parking lot the way you came or branch off onto the 1.4 km Upper Rim Trail. This moderate trail continues with the gorgeous views and with a few well-placed benches, there's plenty of places to rest and enjoy!

The Upper Rim Trail eventually leads down to the Waterfront Trail and back to the parking lot.

There is a drastic change in the vegetation along a couple of these trails. Going from dry grass, rocky hillsides, exposed little caves, to lush green and forested sections.
