Kamloops residents are being encouraged to never leave valuables in vehicles and the latest theft from automobile numbers prove just why.
According to Kamloops RCMP, another 14 vehicles were broken into between Nov. 23 and Sunday. The previous week saw the exact same amount of thefts through different portions of the city.
Of the 14, the most thefts occurred downtown, which had five. That area was followed by Aberdeen and the North Shore who had two each.
Westsyde and Dallas, two places that don't commonly show up on the map, each had a theft. Lower Sahali and the Tk'emlups reserve also had single break-ins.
Brocklehurst, Dufferin, Juniper, Valleyview, Bachelor Heights and Upper Sahali were all unaffected by thieves.
