Kamloops artists rejoice, Art in the Park is coming back to Riverside Park on Canada Day.
Celebrating alongside the Kamloops Multicultural Society's Folkfest, this year's Art in the Park will feature 115 artists and artisans showcasing and selling their work.
Canada Day at Riverside Park will also feature vendors, multicultural performances, food trucks, and more.
Performances will be taking place on the grass stage on the southeast side of the park, including performances from Randi Edmundson the Puppeteer, Campbel Whitaker and Friends Juggling, Wishing Well Parties, Lindy in the Loops, and local buskers. The Rivertown Players Summer Theatre Group are going to make their seasonal debut on the day as well.
The Kamloops Art Council will be on scene for their new "Mural Moolah Madness" lotto fundraiser which could give residents a chance to win $5,000.
