Kamloops RCMP needed to put the pedal to the medal on Thursday to catch a high flier.
According to Cpl. Jodi Shelkie, at 7 p.m., an officer on the Municipal Traffic Unit observed a car driving 145km/h in an 80km/h zone on BC Hwy 1 E.
Police were able to pull over the driver and impounded the vehicle.
Once pulled over, the driver also failed a roadside screening device which resulted in an Immediate Roadside Suspension of 90 days.
Cpl. Shelkie went on to say that "for privacy reasons," she could not name the make or model of the car.
