Hwy 5 is now open in both directions between Sadlier-Brown Road and Carilla Road.
Expect some delays due to congestion.
(Original Story: July 6 @ 12:50 pm) - Travellers looking to head north will be unable to use Hwy 5 for some time.
Drive BC is reporting that the road is closed in both directions south of Barriere. The closure comes between Sadlier-Brown Road and Carilla Road in McLure.

The cause of the closure is due to a "multi-vehicle incident."
There are no detours available and this point and no estimated time of reopening. It is unknown whether anyone was injured after the incident.
