UPDATE: Threat at Dallas Elementary deemed 'not credible'

(Update - 9:30 am): The Principal of Dallas Elementary has confirmed that RCMP has not deemed the threat at Dallas Elementary to be credible.

According to a release from Grant Naylor, prior to the start of the school day, staff noticed a graffiti threat painted on the side of the building. Police were then called to the school to inspect the perimeter.

After finding nothing, students were let back into the school.

NowMedia will update the story when more is known on the threat.

(Original - 9:10 am): Police are responding to an apparent situation at Dallas Elementary School this morning.

School District 73 confirmed the news to NowMedia and have sent a representative to gather information on what is happening.

Witnesses reported seeing students being directed outside onto the school field. This is the third incident involving a Kamloops school this week.
