The popular television series Realty Reality will once again film in the Okanagan Valley and this time, they are using local talent.
Kelowna’s Visland Media has been named as the series’ new partner and co-producer as the show is set to begin its third season. Produced by Victoria-based Cedarwood Productions, the company has also chosen a local realtor to return as show host.
Royal LePage’s Petrina Koltun will host the four episodes that will be shot in the Okanagan.
“I’m so excited to be back for season three,” said Koltun. “I had an unbelievable amount of fun working on the first two seasons and can’t wait for production to start!”
Visland Media CEO Alex Miller echoes that sentiment, saying his group is excited to work on the show.
“Getting involved was a no-brainer for us. It’s a fantastic show and we already act as the international distributor for the first two seasons. We jumped at the chance to work directly with Cedarwood on the newest episodes.”
Visland Media is a Kelowna-based television development and distribution company. It is currently producing a 13-part international travel series entitled Buskers.
The show will also shoot in other major Canadian cities such as Vancouver, Victoria and Calgary. The series will be directed by Lindsay Nielsen with Alex Miller and Karen Davies acting as executive producers.
Production begins in September and the show will air across Canada starting in September 2017.
