Bigger and better: Date announced for 2nd annual Kelowna Beer Fest

Organizers are promising bigger and better this year, with more breweries, more food trucks, more shaded areas and different cups.

TATE co-owner Mitch Carefoot says this isn’t your typical beer festival, but rather a summer kickoff party that is a celebration of community, flavour and the artistry behind every brew.

“This event brings people together to explore the rich flavors crafted by passionate brewers, fostering a sense of camaraderie and appreciation for the diverse world of craft beer. With its picturesque setting, live music and food offerings,” he explained.

“Beer Fest transcends a traditional beer tasting, transforming into an unforgettable experience where memories are brewed, one sip at a time."

This year’s Beer Fest will feature up to 50 local and regional breweries and cideries, who will all be showcasing their finest and most innovative creations.

DJs will be providing the tunes all day long and there will be great eats from 10 food trucks, a vendor village to do a bit of shopping and lawn games to keep the good times rolling.

"This event is a fantastic opportunity for beer and cider lovers to discover and appreciate the incredible talent within the brewing community,” noted Kurt Jory, TATE co-owner. “We're proud to showcase the diverse flavors and styles that make our region's beer scene truly exceptional.”

Tickets for the second annual Kelowna Beer Fest will go on sale at 11 am on Friday, March 1, through the event’s website.
