Center of Gravity kicks off tonight, and with it comes a number of things to be excited about.

From Motocross riders soaring up to 60 feet in the air while executing death-defying stunts, and BMX riders and skateboarders performing their best tricks, to some of our nation's best Beach Volleyball athletes and the high-intensity Rugby Sevens tournament, sports fans are in for a weekend of epic proportions.

With an event of this magnitude taking over one of Kelowna's popular beachfront parks for a full weekend, there are a few community changes and reminders you should be aware of.
Full closure from July 25 to July 31.
Walkway within the event will be closed to the public from July 25 to July 30. Pedestrians are asked to detour around the event using the walkway which runs from the park tunnel, along with the south end of the park to Abbott Street. The pedestrian tunnel will remain open.

Restricted parking on the west side of Abbott Street from July 27 to 29 to accommodate tour and shuttle bus service for the event.
