An English comedian who has become one of Canada’s biggest fans is booked to perform in Kelowna this spring.
James Mullinger, who left his home country for Saint John, N.B., has seen his career blossom since making the move across the Atlantic.
In 2016, he sold out the Harbour Station Arena in his adopted home, and took not a little pleasure in outselling Jerry Seinfeld and Iron Maiden at the same venue.
His success in Saint John, which was repeated in 2018, was turned into a comedy special for Hulu and Amazon Prime.
A movie, The Comedian’s Guide to Survival, was made about his life in 2016.
He will appear at the Kelowna Curling Club on Friday, May 3 as part of his Almost Canadian tour.
Tickets cost $20 ($40 with dinner) and can be bought at trainwreckcomedy.com and eventbrite.ca.
