Kelowna RCMP is turning to the public for their help as investigators try to identify a person of interest in an alleged break and enter.
On June 10th just before 7 a.m., RCMP responded to a report of a male who allegedly walked through an open door in the 400 blocks of Yates Road and confronted the female occupant inside.
The female was assaulted by the unknown male and then removed from her residence. She was not injured as a result of the interaction and did not require medical treatment.
Patrols were conducted, which included Police Dog Services, but the male was not located and wasn’t identified through surveillance from the area.
The suspect is described as a 5’11” Caucasian male with shoulder-length brown, messy hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a gray hoodie and a pair of blue jeans.
