Thousands of people across Canada will lace up to participate in the annual Terry Fox Run scheduled for Sunday, September 16th at the Mission Sports field.
2018 Will mark the 38th anniversary of the start of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope, and the start of a wave that has flooded the nation with motivation to find a cure for cancer in his honour.
Kelowna’s run will kick off at 10a.m. on September 16, 2018, since 1985 the Kelowna Terry Fox Run has contributed more than $900,000 to cancer research.
With 38 years and counting, the longevity of the Terry Fox Run is a testament to staying true to your roots, as it has always been volunteer-led, non-competitive and family oriented.
