Kelowna’s annual MapleFest returns to the downtown area this weekend.
On Saturday, April 27, residents are invited to Stuart Park and a portion of Water Street to the event, which is hosted by the Centre Culturel Francophone de l’Okanagan.

The free, family-friendly event which will feature live music, artistic workshops, traditional cuisine and entertainment for all ages from 10 am until 4 pm.
That includes the beloved sugar shack, where families can roll up a sweet treat of maple taffy.
There will also be a clown, sculpted balloons, face painting, bouncy castles and more.
A portion of Water Street being closed to vehicle traffic and parking between Queensway and Doyle Avenue, starting at 6 am until 6 pm.
The roundabouts at Queensway and Doyle Ave., however, will remain open throughout the day.

On Sunday, April 28, there will be the annual Sugar Shack Brunch at the Laurel Packinghouse from 10 am until 1 pm.
There will be scrambled eggs, pancakes, ham, maple tarts and more.
If you area CCFO member, it costs $16 plus GST. General admission is $20 and kids under 7 cost $8, both plus GST.
