The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) is advising residents of temporary closures happening at two regional parks next week.
On Tuesday, April 9, Kalamoir and Mission Creek regional park will have limited closures, meaning the entrances to the parks will be closed for repairs.
The Casa Loma entrance at Benedick Road to Kalamoir Regional Park will be closed for the day so crews can repair the fence and retaining wall.
Alternative trail access points should be used during that time, says the RDCO in a news release.
All other trail entrances will remain open, including the ones at Collens Hill Road, Sunnyside Road and King Road.
Mission Creek Regional Park will see intermittent closures throughout the day on Tuesday so crews can install new entrance gates.
This means the parking lot entrance on Durnin Road will be closed form 6-11 am.
The entrance at Leckie Road will be closed between 11 am and 5 pm.
Park-goers can use the other entrance while the closures happen.
Signage and barricades will be in place and visitors are asked to respect worker directions.
