This year's theme was Okanagan Tropical Paradise and featured live Hawaiian music from Neil Degraw, a musician and member of the Kelowna Garden Club.

The show featured a variety of summer flowers grown by the Kelowna Garden Club's members as well as a variety of floral designs, artwork, vegetables and handmade crafts.

"As a committee, we were trying to think of a theme and we started to think about the Okanagan Valley and how great it is to live here," said Marilynn Degraw, the Director of the Kelowna Garden Club.

"We thought of the flowers that we can grow, that you can't grow further into the prairies, so we thought it would be fun to work with [those flowers]."

The event showcases the members' hard work and dedication to their craft. Some members travelled from across the Okanagan to feature their flowers in the event.

"For me, coming to see all these beautiful flowers and see everyone participate in the show is very rewarding," said Degraw.
