Candy Cane Lane was a popular spot on Christmas Eve.
The streets were packed with people soaking in the magic of the holidays courtesy of the Rutland neighbourhood's extravagant display of lights.
@kelownanow.com The beloved holiday tradition is alive and well in Rutland! The only thing missing was snow on the ground, but maybe that will change before the end of the year ☃️ Go check it out on Collison Road, Gramiak Road and Mary Court!

If you're unfamiliar with Candy Cane Lane, the annual holiday tradition sees dozens of houses, mainly along Collison Road, Gramiak Road and Mary Court, go all out with Christmas light displays for the public to enjoy.
The spectacle is now in its 15th year and the only ask from organizers is that people bring a non-monetary donation to put into the bin on Mary Court.
The most common donations are non-perishable foot items, which are turned into hampers to help those in need around the holidays.
Houses keep the lights on and donations are still accepted until the end of the month, so you have a week left to check out Candy Cane Lane before the displays get taken down for 11 months.
Here's a sneak peek at some of the magic you can expect during a stroll through the festive neighbourhood:
