A public hearing is scheduled for Feb. 4 at City Hall to consider a large subdivision slated for Black Mountain.
The proposed subdivision would include 22-lots to accommodate 10 duplexes on the property at 1075 Stockley Street.
For the development to proceed, the property requires rezoning from RU4 - Low Density Cluster Housing to the RU6 – Two Dwelling Housing zone, which will allow for a subdivision to be built.
Development planning staff supports the rezoning amendment, however, staff have noted concerns regarding the visual impact and grading of the site given its steep topography and profile to the Hwy 33 corridor
The public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 4, beginning at 6 pm at City Hall.
