The RCMP are renewing their public appeal for help in locating a man who’s wanted for a murder in Grand Prairie one year ago.
Cody Michaloski was killed in October 2019 and the investigation led to the arrest of 25-year-old Benjamin Pearson in Kelowna on May 27, 2020.
Benjamin was charged with first-degree murder, but police were unable to locate his brother Adam, 26, who’s also wanted for the murder of Michloski.
After an unsuccessful five-and-a-half months trying to locate Adam, the RCMP is hoping another appeal to the public can help find the wanted man and bring him into custody.
“It is believed that he may have tried to alter his appearance, including dying his hair,” says an RCMP release.
“Information provided to date is that he uses Airbnbs and hotel/motels, and might go by the nickname ‘Red’.”
The release adds that Adam is known to have ties throughout BC and Alberta, as well as the Toronto area.
The public is warned to not approach Adam, but if you see him you’re urged to contact your local police or the Grand Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5701.
