The tunes of classic rock carried through the city over the weekend, following the successful post-pandemic return of Rock The Lake.
With many people still floating on cloud nine after attending one of Kelowna’s largest music festivals, music fans are in for quite the treat with GSL Group making a grand announcement.
Rock The Lake will be making its return to the Okanagan next summer from Aug. 11-13.
“After being on hold for two years, our annual Rock The Lake Music Festival came back bigger and better than ever,” said GSL Group President & CEO Graham Lee.
“It was exciting to see the community having a fantastic time while listening to some of our favourite classic rock bands. Thank you to all the fans and sponsors for making the weekend special and we can’t wait for 2023.”
Over the weekend they welcomed stars like The Tea Party, A Flock of Seagulls, Nazareth, Moist, Trooper, Chilliwack, Bif Naked, Grapes of Wrath, and so many more hit the stage at Prospera Place.
More than 4,000 avid music lovers gathered downtown every day for one of the most anticipated parties of the summer, and those eagerly awaiting to re-join the energetic crowd have the opportunity to snag some early bird tickets.
While there’s no mention of the lineup yet, you can bet that Rock The Lake will be bringing in some absolute superstars for their sixth installment of the classic rock event.
Those looking to beat the box office rush next year can purchase General Admission weekend passes for $175, and there is even a limited quantity of VIP weekend passes available that'll set you back at just $449.
