Trailer and UTV completely destroyed in suspicious Kelowna fire

An early morning fire at a southeast Kelowna gravel pit.

The Kelowna Fire Department responded to the fire at 7:20 a.m. on Thursday in the 4800 block of Stewart Road West.

The first arriving units discovered a semi-trailer fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze using one engine and a water tender.

However, the trailer was completely destroyed, as was a UTV that was found on the property.

The fire has been deemed as suspicious and the RCMP are now investigating the incident.

If you have any information on this fire or questions about the incident, contact the Kelowna RCMP.
