It may be Monday, but Central Okanagan golfers have plenty of reason to be excited today.
Two Eagles announced this afternoon that the golf course will open on Wednesday, making it the first golf course in the region to do so.

It may not be a permanent move at this point, as the Okanagan can still get some inclement weather in March and April, but there’s some great golf weather on the horizon for now.
Environment Canada calls for nothing but sunshine and highs of 11°C and 10°C for Wednesday and Thursday.
The weekend forecast does call for a 30% chance of showers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but the high is between 8°C and 10°C all three days.
With temperatures like that, even a little rain doesn’t stand a chance of keeping desperate Central Okanagan golf fanatics away from the course.
For now, only Two Eagles has announced it’s opening date, but other Central Okanagan golf courses could very well follow suit.
Kelowna Springs said it hopes to have an update today on when the course will open, while other lower-elevation courses like Shadow Ridge will often open in March as well.
If you're looking for a bit of a shorter, easy-going test to open the season, Michaelbrook's website says the golf course will be opening on Tuesday as well.
Stay tuned to each golf course’s social media or email updates regarding when they plan to open for 2021, even if it’s just temporarily during a stretch of spring-like weather!
