The Mac Miller “A Celebration of Life” concert took place last night in Los Angeles where several artists paid tribute to the late Pittsburgh rapper.
Performances and video tributes were shown that featured his many friends and collaborators, including Chance the Rapper, John Mayer, Vince Staples, Anderson .Paak, and Travis Scott among others.
Miller, who died in September at his L.A. home at the age of 26, was widely mourned by the music community, who remembered him as a talent lost too soon and a kind and generous individual.
The rapper had released his fifth studio album Swimming less than a month before his death.
The concert also announced the launch of the Mac Miller Circles Fund, a nonprofit organization that will support youth arts and community-building programs.
